Tablo: Truthfully, I thought she wouldn’t remember. I was embarrassed. With the song Fly, we were literally flying because of its success. My member Tukutz and I decided to get some quality phones, so we went to the phone store. There was a girl sitting next to us, and she was putting this film on her phone. She was so concentrated in putting it on. It looked a bit childish to be honest. It was probably Tukutz..?
Kang Hye Jung: What Tukutz!
Tablo: Oh was it me? It must have been me.
Kang Hye Jung: I will tell you clearly. I was putting it on diligently, because I got it for free. I was hard at work, when all of sudden, someone next to me goes “Ah, who puts those on nowadays. Take it off, quickly!! How childish!” It was our first meeting. I didn’t know him.
Tablo: I wasn’t even far away from her; I was right next to her. I didn’t even see who it was. I was looking at her phone, and she was working so hard at it. And whenever I said something back then, Tukutz would parrot me. “Yeah, why are you doing something like that!” She walked out, after sitting calmly. I didn’t think anything of it, and then one of the workers there said it was the actress Kang Hye Jung. I was shocked. “What do I do?!” I was a fan. “What do I do?! She’s going to think we’re so cheap!”
Kang Hye Jung: I was shocked too. I mean, I had a lot of activities back then. I was flying more than him. I was me. As soon as I walked out…in a burst of frustration I said “What is that bastard?!” And my dongsaeng next to me goes “Unni, that was Tablo.” I said “He seemed like such a normal person, but he’s so weird.” So I went out, and I said I felt like I’d see that person again.
